Since it is no longer the case, corsets are now considered a new fun piece of clothing that can be experimented with. Now the corsets play the part of clothing that brings in the feel of theatre and romanticism in daily mundane life.’

Corsets were closely bound with the history of oppression, body shaming, and gender discrimination against women until the first world war.
